Karen Walker and I were both born in 1969. I was so privileged to interview New Zealand’s most successful fashion designer for 1.5 hours on a sunny Tuesday afternoon in a showroom about her Auckland store, amid her new bridal range (pictured). She opened up, revealing more about the powerhouse behind the brand: all about her marriage, being a mother, her business, her new bridal range, and also about her personal style and ageing. It was cool to connect as women of the same generation.
